Mists Swatch Book

Tonight I decided I needed to make a swatch book for my mists after buying the 3 Yearbook mists and plans to buy all 3 of the Wonderland mists as well. I’m not really utilizing them enough, so I’m hoping having a swatch of each color nearby will help. since the outside of the bottle rarely matches the inside.

It was a pretty quick and painless process. I put a 3×4 card into my misting box, pulled it out and placed it on my craft mat to dry. Then I’d do the next. Then I ran into a small problem the mists that went around the 3×4 card was still wet in my box. So I started laying down odd colors of cardstock and sprayed a couple on that and flipped it over and did it again.

I’m pretty sure I’m going to do this with my distress stains and paints. I’m really thinking about doing a smaller 2×3 card with each ink color and embossing powder. For the Prima inks I have (which is a lot) I’d also run it on the edge.

Trying to keep myself busy and keep my mind off my surgery next week. I’m one to worry and worry I have been doing. Although I haven’t felt scrappy sadly. At least it’s more time to reorganize. Now if I could just get my husband to finish my inventory app I’d have tons to do.

Thanks for reading and happy crafting! <3 Ann

Has it really been over a month since I posted a layout. Well I’ve done a bit of creating. I’ve done a ton of shopping and reorganization and re-reorganization.

I used Studio Calico’s So Cal kits for this layout. I added the mistable hexagons from the 35mm kit, gold and powder blue mister huey’s, Martha Stewart’s HeartĀ ConfettiĀ and the adventure stamp set Studio Calico once offered.
