Lawn Fawn <3

My name is Ann and I’m a Lawn Fawn addict. When I first started stamping about about 2 years ago I came across Lawn Fawn and entered to win some stamps.  I never expected to win anything, but was hoping to get to try some of their stamps since I couldn’t find them locally at the time. When I stamped my first critter I fell in love. The stamps were great quality and fun. I mean there’s a tissue box and band aid with faces. So fast forwards about 2 years and Lawn Fawn starts to create dies and I don’t own a die cutting machine. Well I had to buy a die cutting machine just because of the dies.  The dies are just as amazing as the stamps.

Recently I created this card for a card challenge and used my Critters of the Forest stamps and dies First I cut and pieced the tree together and then the fox I created by using some water color pencils and then cut him. The Lawn Fawn dies are so easy to line up and give the image a nice white border.

I also used the Fancy envelope tabs die from Lifestyle Crafts to create the flag and used the My Mind’s Eye Collectible 6×6 pad. The greeting was done with some My Little Shoebox letters.

Thanks for checking out today’s card and I’ll see you next week. (hopefully)

P.S. Happy Birthday to sweet and wonderful husband.

Lawn Fawn Summertime Charm

I got a handful of the new Lawn Fawn stamps. One I was really excited about was Summertime Charm.

When I first saw it my first thought was capturing critters. I thought captuing the unicorn would make a great kids birthday card. I even closed it by sewing it . It was my first attempt at sewing vellum, but I think it turned out okay. I used Dear Lizzy’s Neapolitan papers and some thickers for the greeting.

The 2nd card I made  is for a boy who’s hopefully a fan of Phineas and Ferb. I colored Perry and put his hat the jar with Lawn Fawn trimmings as a rope from the hat to Perry. After I finished the card I realized that it would have been more birthday if I had put a birthday cake in the jar instead of his hat, but I think it works. I could even make it a just saying hello or anything card.  I used Lawn Fawn Dewey Decimal papers and some Glitz and Freckled Fawn washi.

Thanks for checking out my cards. Hope you have a great week! <3 Ann

One More Disneyland Day

This layout is for this weeks Lawnscaping challenge

I started this layout with a very different plan. I had the Lawn Fawn chevron paper cut to 8.5×11, the castle pieced from the 6×6 Bright Sides paper pad, and a bunch of stars and hearts cut out. The castle and hearts and stars are from Critters Ever After.  I had a different photo in mind…but I decided to splatter the paper. I used Mister Huey’s Inky Black and Calico White. I then added some washi tape to the corner and then I realized my small square photo of Sleeping Beauty Castle wasn’t going to work. I printed this collage shortly after becoming addicted to Instagram. They’re my favorite photos I took over the course of 24 hours at Disneyland. I did the title with a chevron piece from the 6×6 pad. I left the centers in because 1 I was getting tired and that’s a lot of letters to fussy cut…and look at how many insides and 2 I like the solid look of the letters with the splatters. I added a tab with the year using Say Cheese too and a Jenni Bowlin punch. I added in the stars and hearts I cut before and it was done.

I’m thinking this will be the section front for all the One More Disney Day layouts I’ve done/will do. I have so many cute stories and favorite photos to share.

Does this count as using 20 photos or just 1?

Thanks for reading and happy crafting! <3 Ann
