The Sampler Love Card

For my first project of the month for The Sampler Kit Club  I created a card that could be for Valentine’s Day or for a wedding. I started with the Echo Park doily paper as my card base.  I took the lace and trimmed it from the backing and sewed it onto  a piece of the Dear Lizzy “6th and Main” arrows. I cut the love using the Silhouette with the Snap paper for a bold yet simple greeting.

I hope everyone has a great weekend! <3 Ann

Birthday Card

This is the card I gave my husband for his birthday a couple weeks ago. I used papers from A Boy’s Life by Echo Park, the balloons were punched using the Martha Stewart punch, the strings for the card are Lawn Fawn and the sentiment is from Hero Arts/Studio Calico Borders.

Me: A quick layout

I stopped by Our Paper Place Saturday with nothing in mind. Really I hadn’t even planned on going, but happen to be “in the area” and stopped in. I saw the new Hello Summer Echo Park collection and picked up the 6×6 pad for some summer birthday cards and some 12×12 sheets for some scrapbooking.

This layout actually started out as a card…in a way. I pulled several sheets from my new 6×6 pad and they ended up laying next to this photo. The colors really drew me in. I decided to take the same idea for the card and expand it to the layout. The border is from Dots and Stripes and the title is from Little Boy.

Thanks for looking and happy crafting! <3 Ann
