Happy Valentine’s Day

I love love love this card. It’s simple, it’s me, and I know DH will just toss it in a pile, so this card is for me.  I finally replaced my crappy Ranger heat tool with the one Hero Arts offers Simon Says Stamp offers it.  It set this entire card in less then a minute. The arrow is from Basic Grey/Hero Arts.  I used gold metallic zing from American Crafts. The washi tapes are both new Glitz tapes and the love you is Lawn Fawn I don’t remember the name of the collection.   Honestly this card took me 5 minutes and that’s only because I had to dig through my alphabets and stamps to find the right sentiments.

I hope you have a great Valentine’s Day

Supply Binder

I’ve covered my Scrap Space and packing for a crop. Today I have my supply binder to share

I got this 5.5×8.5 binder at Staples. I cut the chevrons  using the Silhouette the stickers are random Echo Park ones that I had sitting around, and one late night I added washi tape to top and bottom..not really sure why.

I have 5 dividers in my binder the first holds:

Inks: Hero Arts Shadow, Prima, Jenni Bowlin

Markers: Copics, Tim Holtz (I stamped an O and colored it in to show the color)

The 2nd divider

Embossing Powders: American Crafts I embossed on a different sheet and then glued the sample onto the page.

Mists: Studio Calico I misted onto a 1 inch circle and then glued that onto the page as well

Stains: Tim Holtz I did the same as I did with the Mists

Paint: Jenni Bowlin dabbers. I colored circles as well to put into the book

The 3rd divider:

Punches: American Crafts borders, Fiskars borders, EK borders, basic shapes, confetti shapes

Masks: I have 1 Studio Calico Mask that I made a sample of

The 4th divider holds things that can run out.

Washi Tapes: They’re stored in columns that match the cubbies they’re stored in.

Twine: I have a page that has small samples of twine that I own more then 5 yards of. I cut a 1/2inch and taped it on the page.

The 5th divider holds sketches for layouts and cards.

Thanks for reading and happy crafting! <3 Ann

Pier 39

Our Paper Place is hosting a sketch challenge this week. This is the sketch I had to go from.

I really like this sketch and will be adding it to my notebook for future reuse.

This is my layout

I used patterned papers from October Afternoon’s 9 to5 line that I just picked up at Our Paper Place today. I added a strip of washi tape to the yellow cardstock and covered it completely in the little banner on the right.

The camera is from an Echo Park paper that was in my Studio Calico kit.
